Accessibility statement

Global Golden Spark Inc. (“BreadKone”) wants everyone to be able to use breadkone.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. We treat accessibility as part of building the site, not as an afterthought.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people with a wide range of disabilities.

Conformance status: partially conformant. Most of the site meets WCAG 2.2 AA. A few parts, listed under Known limitations, don’t fully meet it yet.

What we’ve done

• Clear page structure with headings and landmarks, so screen readers can jump between sections.
• A “Skip to content” link as the first item on every page.
• Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline on links, buttons, and form fields.
• Text alternatives for meaningful images. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Form fields with visible labels and clear error messages linked to each field. If something is missing, focus moves to the first field that needs fixing.
• Photo galleries that can be scrolled with the keyboard, and a photo viewer you can close with Esc.
• Text and background colors chosen for readable contrast.
• Pages that adapt to phones, tablets, and zoom without scrolling sideways.
• Animations reduced or turned off when your device is set to reduce motion.
• A cookie banner that works with a keyboard and screen reader, and doesn’t block the page.

Known limitations

• Printable recipe cards on the Menu ideas page are images. The main ingredients for each idea are listed as text on the page, but portion weights are only on the card. Contact us and we’ll send any recipe as text.
• Instagram posts we link to are hosted by Instagram, which we don’t control. Each link has a text description of the post.
• Spec sheets aren’t online yet. When we add them as PDFs, we’ll make them accessible or offer an accessible alternative.

How we test

We test the site ourselves. That includes automated checks of every page against WCAG 2.2 AA, plus manual review with a keyboard and at phone, tablet, and desktop sizes. We re-test when we make significant changes.

Compatibility

The site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge) and the screen readers built into or commonly used with them, such as VoiceOver and NVDA. It may not work as well with older browsers.

If something on the site is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, please tell us. Include the page address and what happened, and we’ll work with you to fix it or get you what you need another way.
